The Role:

  • The Senior Content Steward is a critical new role within the Global Content Enablement team and part of Invesco’s Americas & EMEA Marketing organization.
  • This role executes on the defined content strategy and roadmaps to improve the quality, availability, and usability of content primarily within the EMEA domain.
  • They develop a strong understanding of their content domain, including how it is produced, categorized, and consumed with the end goal to drive Invesco content capabilities forward.
  • All work is done in partnership with business and technology stakeholders to ensure consistency of services and deliverables.
  • This position performs complex “hands-on-keys” work to identify, research, and remediate content quality issues, creates processes to prevent issue recurrence, and measures continual improvement in content quality and accessibility.
  • The Senior Content Steward role is crucial to enable and track progress against Invesco’s strategy – trustworthy content is foundational to deliver a superior investment and client experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides support primarily for EMEA Content Domains and ancillary support for NA.
  • Consistently makes proactive suggestions regarding product usability, presentation, and content quality especially as it relates to EMEA web presentation.
  • Responsible for the integrity of content and runs day-to-day activities necessary to produce, validate, and deliver quality content to consuming functions and systems.
  • Proactively identifies, escalates, and resolves content distribution issues.
  • Performs initial triage/research for content distribution issues and escalates/routes issues accordingly.
  • Provides insights regarding trends around issues and/or errors and offers solutions.
  • Works closely with EMEA Content Product Owners and provides content analysis support for various development, deployment, and research efforts.
  • Proactively analyzes content to answer key questions for stakeholders with an eye on what drives client engagement and content performance; investigates and communicates which areas need improvement to increase efficiency, accessibility, and client interaction with content.
  • Helps to define and standardize content quality metrics. Participates in the development of reports/dashboards to enable visibility into content impact for senior leadership.
  • Provides reporting aligned to content quality checks and issue identification and resolution.
  • Partners with EMEA and NA content domain experts to develop and maintain global ecosystem taxonomy, aligning business partners and consumers of content to a standardized set of fields and definitions.
  • Supports functional and technology teams through solution-building – bridge gaps to ensure business requirements are met in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on delivery, analytics, and results (including critical metrics and KPIs) to enable key insights into content engagement.

The Experience You Bring

  • Effectively manages multiple responsibilities, demonstrates initiative, and meets deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of desktop tools and ability to leverage them for analytic and communication purposes.
  • Skilled at dealing with ambiguity and exercising independent judgement consistent with departmental goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advance level SQL and Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of content, analysis, and processes related to categorization by campaign, program, asset class, and product.
  • Technical and business background with experience in investments content; specifically, asset management and/or financial services industry content is a plus.
  • Client-first mindset.
  • Purposeful and execution-oriented with high-level goals to achieve results.
  • Good relationship-building skills, fostering diversity of thought, empowerment, and accountability.
  • Good understanding of content metrics and utilization of data to develop analytics around usage and client impact in a meaningful way.
  • Good influencer, business partner, and content activist.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to manage time and priorities effectively.

Academic Requirements

  • BA/BS in relevant field or 5 years of experience in tech platforms, project management and/or content development and distribution.
