The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation, exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.
We are now looking to hire a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed candidate to drive program excellence for the EU Same Day network. The Same Day Program Excellence lead (Analyst III) acts as the owner of the initiatives that sharpen how we plan and deliver, from data visualization to speed-and-cost trade-offs to experiments that scale the business. They transform ambiguity into a structured plan, engage with the required teams to drive and deliver, and form a business partnership with senior leaders and stakeholders across Same Day business, DEX, Operations, and capacity planning teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Program-manage the portfolio of new initiatives that improve data visualization, speed-and-cost trade-offs, and experiments to scale how we plan and deliver Same Day across EU. Understand in depth how we plan, what the OP2 goals are, and what is required to deliver them.
- Connect data from different sources and transform it into the inputs and signals the planning team relies on to make decisions.
- Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent and simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex, fast-moving situations.
- Communicate continuously with senior leaders and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, transforming ambiguity into structured plans and engaging the required teams to deliver.
- Anticipate risks across initiatives and drive mitigation before they impact plans, cost, or customer speed.
- Own program management governance across Same Day business, DEX, Operations, and capacity planning teams, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.

You will use your analytical prowess to connect data across sources, identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on the tools and decision frameworks that scale how we plan Same Day. Whether you are program-managing new initiatives, driving alignment with senior leaders, or running experiments to scale the business, your impact will be visible, ongoing, and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering/Economics- Experience working with databases and SQL
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience managing competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience owning program strategy, managing end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
