**S&OP Analyst (Supply Chain) - Amazon** Amazon seeks a detail-oriented S&OP Analyst to optimize inbound, inventory, and outbound planning, advancing accurate forecasting for swift, efficient fulfillment. Key responsibilities include outbound demand forecasting, model calibration, and performance tracking using SQL, Excel, and BI tools. Leveraging attention to detail and data comfort, you'll follow processes while optimizing them, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance forecast accuracy. This mid-level role demands technical proficiency in data analysis and demand planning, balancing short-term execution with process improvement. Experience with forecast bias correction and WAPE reduction desired.

Amazon is looking for an S&OP Analyst to support the planning activities that enable fast, on-time, and low-cost fulfillment for Amazon and our Selling Partners.

This is a tactical role within the S&OP team, focused on executing inbound, inventory, and outbound planning cycles and contributing to forecasting improvement initiatives such as bias correction and WAPE reduction. You will use SQL, Excel, and BI tools to maintain planning inputs, track execution against plan, and flag deviations to senior planners. The role requires attention to detail, comfort with data, and the ability to follow defined processes while identifying opportunities to optimize them.

Working within one team, you participate in the planning processes, interacting with key stakeholders to improve forecasting quality/accuracy. This position requires technical skills in data analysis and demand planning. The role balances short-term execution with process optimization, requiring trade-offs between time and resources while delivering impact against team goals and project metrics.

Key job responsibilities
Outbound demand forecasting: validate inputs&outputs, apply adjustments, publish final demand.
Forecast model calibration: weekly/daily bias corrections, seasonality updates, ramp curves for new nodes.
Reporting: Monitor forecast accuracy (WAPE, bias), defect bridges, S&OP inputs and develop corrective plans to reduce variances.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in supply chain
- Experience with advanced analytics
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in oral and written communication in English
