Join our Team and advance your career as a GRC Service Delivery Manager

The GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Service Delivery Manager (ST&S) is accountable for the hands-on delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of GRC services supporting bp’s global trading, supply, and shipping activities. The role ensures that risk, control, and compliance capabilities are embedded into front-to-back trading processes, are fit for a highly regulated and fast-moving trading environment and enable effective oversight. The role acts as the primary operational interface between ST&S Risk, Trading, Compliance, Technology, and third-party providers, ensuring GRC services consistently support safe, compliant, and efficient trading operations.

  • Sit at the heart of global trading risk management team

  • Influence on how Governance, Risk & Compliance services support bp’s trading performance and resilience

  • Be part of bp’s growing Budapest ST&S delivery capability, working with senior partners across the globe

In this role You will:

  • Be responsible for the Governance, Risk & Compliance, Drive Impact. Enable Trading

  • Lead end‑to‑end GRC service delivery across ST&S risk, controls, compliance, and reporting

  • Partner with trading, risk, and compliance leaders to turn strategy into action

  • Own service performance and stability, data quality, and user experience

  • Drive transformation: simplify processes, reduce manual work, and improve visibility

  • Manage vendors and delivery partners to ensure quality, value, and compliance

  • Keep ST&S audit‑ready with strong governance and regulatory alignment

  • Collaborate globally to build capability and a culture of continuous improvement

What You will need to be successful:

  • Higher Degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong communication and partner collaboration skills

  • Proven service delivery/operations experience in trading, energy, financial services, or regulated environments

  • Solid knowledge of ST&S risk domains (market, credit, operational risk)

  • Experience with technology-enabled services (e.g. ServiceNow GRC/IRM or similar)

  • Confident engaging senior trading, risk, and technology partners

  • Experience managing third-party vendors and complex delivery landscapes

  • Fluent English

  • Strong ownership and disciplined execution

  • Balances control difficulty with trading speed and pragmatism

  • Clear communicator with ability to challenge and influence

  • Structured problem solver with strong prioritization

  • Comfortable in complex, high-pressure environments
