Key job responsibilities

- Research new technologies that could help simplify your team's system and draft a message to the team with your findings
- Root cause and resolve a trouble ticket filed by a customer of your system

About the team
PXT Case Management System (PXT CMS) is Amazon's first-party HR case management platform, launched in 2022. It powers HR support for more than 1.5 million Amazonians worldwide - corporate, operations, and everything in between. Every day the platform processes over 120,000 new cases and 700,000 updates across 23+ HR business domains, from onboarding and leave to benefits and payroll.

We are building the next generation of the platform: an AI-native case orchestration system that lets HR business teams automate routine work through configurable workflows and AI agent skills, so advisors and HR partners can spend their time on the moments that need human judgment.

We are a senior, engineering-driven team with a strong bias for ownership, deep customer empathy, and craft. We move fast, dive deep on hard problems, and treat AI as a first-class tool for reshaping how HR support gets delivered at Amazon scale.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
