Job Summary

This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cloud software applications across frontend and backend domains, with a strong focus on integration-heavy PSP Solutions environments. The role works across multiple platform layers, combining product delivery, technical problem solving, and operational improvements to create reliable, scalable, and user-centered solutions.

The engineer is expected to operate as a full stack contributor who can move between frontend work, backend APIs and services, cloud integration, and delivery tooling depending on team needs. The role also promotes modern engineering practices through the practical use of AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows to improve implementation speed, code quality, troubleshooting, testing, and process automation.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements enhancements, updates, and programming changes across frontend applications, backend services, and integration layers in cloud-native software environments.

• Contributes as a full stack engineer in frontend areas and service or API-oriented backend work, adapting to the highest-priority needs across PSP Solutions cloud teams.

• Analyzes designs and determines coding, integration, and rollout activities required based on product objectives, architecture constraints, and operational dependencies.

• Investigates and resolves technical issues reported by users or identified during testing and production usage, including cross-team and cross-service incidents.

• Writes and executes testing plans, debugging workflows, and technical documentation for assigned applications, services, and integration points.

• Collaborates with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to implement new capabilities while preserving platform consistency and scalability.

• Supports the lifecycle of services and applications from design and implementation through deployment, operation, monitoring, and iterative refinement.

• Actively adopts AI-assisted coding, test generation, documentation, and troubleshooting practices to improve development efficiency and engineering quality.

• Identifies and drives opportunities to improve engineering processes through agentic AI workflows, automation, and practical developer enablement.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in full stack software engineering, cloud applications, platform integration, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
