About the Role
This role is pivotal in selling and retaining business across diverse markets, including Financial, Corporates, Government, and Academic sectors, with a focus on Risk & Compliance, Factiva and Newswires functions and solutions.
You Will:
Generate new revenue streams through sales of products and services tailored to our prospects’ business needs.
Retain Dow Jones contract revenue and ensure our products and services meet customers' business needs.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and building strong relationships.
Develop and execute a plan for managing account renewals, ensuring timely communication and fulfilment of contractual obligations.
Oversee all aspects of account management, including understanding client businesses, resolving issues promptly, and keeping abreast of competitor solutions.
Identify opportunities for increasing revenue within accounts through up-selling and cross-selling initiatives.
Manage sales forecasts and pipelines to ensure clear reporting of renewals, sales opportunities, and associated revenue and timelines.
You Have:
Native level Japanese and business level English
5+ years of proven experience in account management and internal/external relationship management
Strong initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
Proven success in selling business news and information to corporate or financial clients would be beneficial.
Understanding of internet and intranet applications, emerging web technologies, and industry trends.
Strong business acumen to identify potential opportunities and effectively communicate the benefits of Dow Jones products with customers and prospects.
Knowledge of the Risk & Compliance markets would be an advantage.
