**Associate, Corporate Sales, Markets & Securities Services**: Leverage strong business acumen to serve CMB clients in corporate banking. Develop customized product solutions, demonstrate market insights, and build lasting client relationships. Proficient in sales strategies, comfortably handles client discussions, and thrives in a competitive environment. 3-5 years corporate sales experience required, with background in financial products. Familiarity with Fintech tools and CRM software a plus.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Associate, Corporate Sales.

In this role you will:

  • Identify and service corporate clients in the CMB Business Banking/ Corporate segment, address their needs through the provision of client relevant products, solutions and deep market insight, and develop long lasting trusted relationships whilst improving product penetration and wallet share.
  • Provide digital and transactional services and capabilities. Manage transaction flow from order through to execution in conjunction with the relevant trading team.
  • Maintain awareness of the applicable regulatory and business environment and ensure compliance of relevant regulations and rules of the Bank
  • Work to become completely conversant in all aspects of the Rates and FX products, incorporating Interest Rate and Cross-Currency Derivatives, FX Options, Spot, Forward and Swap pricing into strategies as well as assisting with risk management decisions.
  • Identify sales opportunities that address specific needs for our clients and managing from identification to point of sale and through post trade process.
  • Own the growth of revenue for clients in CMB Business Banking/ Corporate, which requires collaborating with other internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Global Payments Solutions and Global Trade Solutions, to service client needs and improve share of wallet.
  • Collaborate and works effectively with the other Corporate Sales teams through communication, performance management and client development plans, to strengthen client relationship and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Hold relevant exams and qualifications to satisfy local and any cross border market regulations for non-advisory sales and trading activities
  • Good understanding of Markets, covering foreign exchange instruments such as Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards and Futures and interest rate derivatives and an ability to understand and manage a diverse and sometimes complex, product set
  • Have self-awareness with the confidence to work independently and take responsibility for your own development
  • Able to work collaboratively with other colleagues, supporting them when possible
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, including advanced knowledge of Powerpoint & Excel
  • Create accountability and global standards for the solutions effort
  • Ability to construct and execute a business plan
  • Ability to translate market needs into marketable solutions for clients.
