Job Duties and responsibilities 

  • Call and/or email all inbound leads in all region to engage, qualify, and book meetings for the sales team, mainly Regional Account Manager(s)
  • Outbound calling and emailing to identify, engage, qualify, and book meetings with target contacts in target companies
  • Register and track all activity through Salesforce.com
  • Maintain a minimum of Fortinet Network Security Expert Level-3 Certification (NSE3), as well as training in the necessary solutions, products, and positioning for segments and verticals. BDSs influence prospects to guide their interest in considering solutions and services through their understanding our solutions and products, as well as handling a prospect’s questions with a high-level understanding of business scenarios.
  • Primary duties include adding new customer acquisitions, promoting products, and driving interest with the goal of propelling meetings for sales teams to complete to generate opportunities in the region for Fortinet
Business Development Representative As Business Development Representative (BDR) you will provide support to a defined group of LATAM-based Regional Account Managers RAM’s and inbound and outbound leads to engage, qualify, and book meetings mainly whitespace transferring for RAM’s and/or partners. In order to generate high-value meetings for the RAM’s, the BDR will be responsible for identifying and engaging contacts, qualifying, and setting meetings with in via inbound leads coming from marketing campaigns and activities, or from their own outbound calling and emailing activity. You will have access to contact databases along with lists of contacts acquired from marketing campaigns, marketing events, and 3rd party services to achieve their meeting generation goals.
