Role Summary
An experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for a portfolio of FX and FX Derivatives products. A Senior level position which requires the ability to work autonomously, as part of a team and directly engage with clients. The commercial ability to maintain good relationships with clients and find new ones to bring additional flow is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing in FX emerging markets and FX Derivatives products
- Directly corresponding with clients. Clients include banks, corporates, central banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutionals and trading houses.
- Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
- Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
- Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology.
- Strategising to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA and all other financial governing bodies relevant to the working jurisdiction
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
- At all times complying with the regulators Code of Conduct
- Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial, Marex SA and MSIL trading books
- Liaising with clients in US, UK, France, wider EMEA and APAC
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
- To escalate risk events immediately
- To provide input to risk management processes, as required
Skills and Experience
- Analytical skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience working in and knowledge of FX Derivatives Products including emerging markets
- Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support the institutional client base working closely with these business lines
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
