You Are

You have spent years in the semiconductor manufacturing space and you understand that selling software into a fab is not about features, it is about understanding what breaks when yield drops or when a process step drifts. You know how to walk a factory floor, ask the right questions, and translate what you hear into a solution that actually solves the problem, not just checks a box.

You are comfortable talking to a process engineer about defect detection one hour and sitting with a VP of Operations the next, shifting your language but never losing the thread of what matters to them. You do not wait for perfect alignment to move a deal forward. You map the organization, figure out who cares about what, and build relationships that last beyond the contract signature.

Deals energize you, especially the complex ones where you need to coordinate field engineers, navigate procurement, and negotiate terms that work for both sides. You think in pipeline, not one-offs. At Synopsys, you will sell manufacturing solutions that directly impact how the world's leading semiconductor companies run their fabs.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop and grow your assigned territory in Taiwan by prospecting semiconductor manufacturers and identifying companies with real needs for factory automation and process control solutions

Qualify accounts by understanding customer manufacturing challenges, decision-making structures, and buying processes, not just surface-level interest

Build relationships across customer organizations, from process engineers to operations leaders, to map infrastructure, uncover key projects, and identify decision makers

Formulate and propose solutions using Synopsys manufacturing software and services that address specific customer pain points around yield, quality, and process control

Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through negotiation, close, and deployment, working closely with field technical teams to drive adoption and customer satisfaction

Maintain an accurate forecast and a healthy pipeline by tracking opportunities, following up on leads, and managing your existing customer base with discipline

Collaborate with Business Unit Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering teams to refine product positioning and act as the voice of the customer back into Synopsys

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

5+ years of sales experience in semiconductor manufacturing, EDA, or factory automation, with a proven track record of developing new business and closing complex deals

Deep understanding of semiconductor chip design and manufacturing processes, including how process control and factory automation systems impact yield and quality

Experience selling into or working with Factory Automation Systems and Process Control solutions in the semiconductor or equipment industry

Ability to structure and negotiate complex deals involving multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and technical evaluations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, for building presentations and proposals that communicate value clearly

Fluency in Mandarin and English to engage effectively with customers and internal teams

You collaborate naturally with technical teams, translating customer needs into clear requirements and bringing engineers into the conversation at the right time
