About the Role

We are seeking a commercially-driven and intellectually curious New Business Sales Executive to support the continued growth of Storyful Intelligence.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting business development with strategic thinking and insight-led conversations. You will help identify growth opportunities, support outreach and prospect development, contribute to commercial storytelling and presentations, and work closely with strategists and analysts to bring Storyful’s capabilities to market.

You will engage with communications, marketing, research, and corporate reputation leaders across brands and agencies, helping organizations better understand the digital narratives and risks shaping their industries.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-evolving business operating at the intersection of reputation, media intelligence, AI, misinformation, and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

Commercial Growth & Prospect Development

  • Support new business development efforts across brand, agency, and corporate communications sectors

  • Identify and research prospective client opportunities across key industries and emerging market areas

  • Develop strategic outreach approaches tailored to prospective client needs and market dynamics

  • Help manage and nurture lead pipelines using Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent CRM platforms

  • Support prospect meetings, follow-ups, and next-step coordination across the sales process

  • Contribute to commercial reporting, pipeline tracking, and revenue updates

Market Intelligence & Commercial Storytelling

  • Collaborate with strategists and analysts to identify relevant insights, trends, and case studies for client outreach

  • Help develop capabilities presentations, prospect materials, and thought leadership content

  • Use AI-enabled research and intelligence tools to support prospecting, account research, and industry analysis

  • Stay informed on developments across communications, media, reputation, AI, and digital platforms

Relationship Building & Industry Engagement

  • Support Storyful’s presence at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

  • Build relationships with prospective clients and industry stakeholders

  • Contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented commercial culture across the Intelligence business

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, client strategy, insights, communications, media intelligence, SaaS, consulting, or related commercial environments

  • Experience supporting lead generation, outreach, account development, or consultative sales processes

  • Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development

  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in communications, digital media, online narratives, reputation, and emerging technologies

  • Ability to synthesize information and think critically about client and market challenges

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment with evolving priorities

  • The willingness to work in our Midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week

  • Experience working with communications, marketing, research, media, or insights-oriented clients is a plus

  • Familiarity with AI tools and digital research workflows is a plus

Base Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 + 10% Bonus
