Seeking a DevOps Engineer with cloud, Kubernetes, and CI/CD expertise and a security-aware mindset. This role requires owning components within modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure and collaborating with security teams, application developers, and senior engineers to deliver automated, reliable, and secure pipelines. You will build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), implement GitOps with Argo CD, and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, SaltStack, and scripting. A focus on embedding security checks into pipelines (DevSecOps) and securing configurations and secrets is essential.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices, and a security-aware attitude. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond basics and is ready to take ownership of components within a modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
You will work closely with senior engineers, security teams, and application developers to build reliable, automated, and secure delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and operate cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Work with Kubernetes clusters for application deployments, upgrades, and day-to-day operations.
- Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Implement and follow GitOps practices using tools like Argo CD.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Assist with configuration management and automation using SaltStack and scripting.
- Embed basic security checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices).
- Help manage secrets, access policies, and secure configurations.
- Solve infrastructure and deployment issues and participate in incident resolution.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams and clearly communicate technical issues and solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 4- 6 years of experience in DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, services, basic solving).
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
- Exposure to GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language — Java preferred.
- Working experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with SaltStack or similar automation/configuration tools.
- Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.).
Security Outlook (Good to have)
- DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC concepts.
- Understanding of container security basics and secure configurations.
- Willingness to learn and adopt security-first engineering practices.
Soft Skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ownership of assigned components and eagerness to learn.
