Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or strategic account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience selling to enterprise accounts, promoting a portfolio of products or solutions at the C-level.
  • Experience in, or supporting, the manufacturing, industrial, or automotive industries.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with, or selling to, manufacturing customers and their strategic priorities.
  • Understanding of the cloud computing landscape and its application to industrial use cases.
  • Ability to partner with account leadership to develop and execute long-term, strategic account plans that deliver significant business value across a global conglomerate.

As a Key Account Executive for a discrete manufacturing customer, you will partner with the Key Account Director to drive the global growth strategy for one of Google Cloud’s most strategic industrial customers. You will champion the transformative power of Google’s AI and infrastructure to modernize the discrete manufacturing customer's digital enterprise vision across industrial sectors, smart infrastructure, and mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate end-to-end sales cycles for multi-stakeholder deals, addressing rigorous industrial regulatory and security requirements for C-level executives.
  • Build and scale deep partnerships across a manufacturing customer, positioning Google Cloud as a strategic advisor to influence long-term technology roadmaps and business decisions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of a manufacturing customer’s business drivers, technology architecture, and competitive landscape to deliver tailored high-value solutions.
  • Partner with the Key Account Director to drive global account strategy, aligning Google’s AI and infrastructure capabilities with the customer’s security, compliance, and innovation priorities.
  • Drive business development initiatives and provide precise forecasting, guiding the customer through the entire lifecycle – from initial discovery to long-term strategic partnership.
