Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  • Experience with tool development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Experience in infrastructure with knowledge across compute, storage and networking.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stability, performance, and high availability of all virtual environments to support continuous development and testing.
  • Monitor the health of the environments and provide robust debugging tools and support to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Define and drive initiatives to improve the overall reliability and longevity of our virtual environments.
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand their requirements and continuously evolve our environment offerings with new configurations and capabilities focused on achieving physical lab environments.
  • Be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the various tools and infrastructure for virtual environments. Some examples include automating the environment provisioning, management, and scaling of environments to ensure efficient and on-demand access.
