Minimum qualifications:

  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work (e.g., open-source coding).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience related to infrastructure automation, cloud platforms (particularly Google Cloud/GCE), CI/CD systems, or building/maintaining large-scale testing/staging environments.
  • Experience in leveraging AI/ML in solving Developer Experience/DevOps related problems.

  • Manage API test coverage gaps discovery and test auto generation for complex compute workloads.
  • Create and run virtual machines on Google infrastructure.
  • Develop tools, frameworks, and release processes that empower Control Plane developers to efficiently release software to meet ongoing demand for new Compute feature for Google Cloud customers.
