Join Google Cloud's Technical Solutions Engineering team as a Technical Solutions Engineer, Scaled Solutions. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process).
  • Experience reading code in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JavaScript) or in system design.
  • Experience with technical projects including design, development, maintenance, and driving long term improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) data center hardware platforms and related technologies.
  • Experience in interacting with customers or users and working with technical stakeholders or partners.
  • Experience in developing back-end applications or shell scripts.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve stakeholder issues and blocked data center actions through effective diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Develop, iterate on, and improve internal tools, software, or automations that assist with speedy troubleshooting and issue management.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and partner teams across Google Server Operations and Engineering to work on the issues and underlying root causes which drives negative business outcomes.
  • Work in a rotating weekend on-call shift to support key Machine Learning (ML) deployments.
