As a Client Director within AWS Strategic Accounts, you will lead strategy and sales motions with Salesforce, one of our most advanced customers. You will build and lead a large Account Team to drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration of AWS, and engage CXO-level executives within Salesforce and AWS. You will collaborate with AWS and Amazon partner teams to drive strategic partnerships with Salesforce and push the boundaries to drive innovation. You will serve as a key member of the Americas leadership team, defining programs and delivering business reviews to senior management.
As a Client Director within AWS Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for building the strategy and sales motions with Salesforce, one of our most advanced customers. In this influential role, you will lead, build and develop a skilled team who will execute the strategy to increase the adoption of AWS. You will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. You will drive engagements at the C-Suite within Salesforce and AWS. You will be work with the AWS and Amazon partner teams to drive strategic partnerships with Salesforce. You will push the boundaries to think big and drive innovation. Lastly, you will be a steward of culture, leading a large extended Account Team.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Strategic Accounts plan, including a think big plan
- Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration
- Drive engagements at the CXO level as well as with Line of Business Leaders
- Create, articulate, and train the team on compelling value propositions around AWS to accelerate customer adoption
- Work with partners (System Integration Partners, Channel Partners, Network Providers, and Independent Software Vendors) to extend reach and drive adoption
- Serve as a key member of the Americas leadership team in helping to define and deliver the overall strategy and programs
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of direct field experience working with enterprise accounts, developing and executing strategies using multiple types of resources (Professional, Solutions Architects, Training, Partners) selling technology solutions- 10+ years of global leadership experience, proven people management, and experience leading large, diverse teams
- Experience negotiating large contracts, coordinating closely with legal counsel and executives
- Experience forecasting and territory management, as well as sales planning and sales operations with a track record of exceeding revenue quota and new customer adoption goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; blend of experience with Fortune 100 businesses plus demonstrated ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, agile environment
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Consultative and value-driven approach to client relationships
- Experience developing and facilitating appropriate sales motions to lead a team broad and deep in targeted accounts

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
