Join Amazon's AWS Infrastructure Services as a Data Center Logistics Specialist responsible for inventory management and parts control to support data center build and repair operations. You will maintain precise records of all commodities, coordinate shipments, and assist with daily scheduling of deliveries and pickups to production locations. The role requires lifting heavy materials, operating in a warehouse/data center environment, and potential weekend shifts, with a focus on safety and process adherence. This position supports AWS cloud infrastructure by ensuring reliable parts flow and inventory accuracy for technicians and engineers.
The Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to support data center build and repair operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for parts management, including receiving, inventory control, and distribution to Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company. They must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces. They must be available to work on weekend shifts.

Key job responsibilities
Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing
Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials
Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e. forklift or cherry picker).
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Typically, work is in a warehouse or data center environment where the noise level is moderate to loud.
Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments.
Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather
Work Environment:
Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts
Noise level varies and can be loud
Temperatures are between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent- 1+ years of logistics or other relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience in shipping & receiving inventory and warehousing practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)- Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
- Experience in Warehouse Management Software / Inventory Management Software proficiency
- Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies
- Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
