Join AWS Infrastructure Services to support and operate AWS data center infrastructure, ensuring cloud services stay up and reliable. You will work 7x24 on-site in data centers as incident first responder, perform break-fix and troubleshooting, and manage media operations, capacity, and site tidiness. You’ll collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers and other teams to improve operation efficiency while maintaining safety and security. This role is part of a diverse team focused on delivering high-availability at the lowest possible cost for customers.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
•7x24 roster duty in data center operations
•Incident first responder and onsite hands on support
•Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
•Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
•Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
•Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas
•Innovate and contribute from day-to-day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment- Bachelor or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines.
- 1 year experience in server / network hardware and operation systems maintenance / troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data center engineering or operations- Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields
- Understanding of data center safety and security environment.
