Enterprise Account Manager to drive AWS growth in South Africa by engaging C-level executives and IT leaders and representing the full AWS portfolio across strategic accounts. The role focuses on increasing market penetration in enterprise customers, leading cross-functional teams, and orchestrating long-term transformational account strategies. It requires a quota-carrying track record of delivering results and the ability to close large-scale cloud deals with executive stakeholders.

As an Enterprise Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of AWS in South Africa. Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in key customer accounts.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success/delivering results, ability to engage CxO’s with confidence, ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams (internally and externally), and great communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities:
As an Enterprise Sales Representative, you will drive digital transformation through meaningful engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses of your customers. In this role, you will represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across the strategic accounts you manage within the Enterprise customer market segment. With AWS, our customers benefit from the fastest pace of innovation, the broadest and deepest functionality, the most secure computing environment, and the most proven operational expertise.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales professional with a proven track record of success selling complex cloud solutions to large enterprises within Financial Services
- Experience hiring and leading sales or account management teams focused on acquiring and managing enterprise customers
- Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions experience
- Experience in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting in the IT industry, such as Cloud, SaaS, Analytics, Mobile or eCommerce
- Experience in a client facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers
- Experience in business development and building strong client relationship
