Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale distributed systems for Amazon's corporate real estate operations. Drive GREF Tech's technical strategy and roadmap, partnering with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment across systems. Architect scalable solutions leveraging AWS primitives; mentor TPMs and engineers; and promote engineering excellence with data-driven decision making.

GREF Tech is seeking an exceptional technical leader to join us as a Principal Tech Program Manager. Our software development team creates innovative services and tools that serve our Amazonian customers and empower corporate real estate operations across more than 60 countries. We build solutions that transform workspace experiences and management through technology, focusing on solving hard problems in physical-digital services, space management, supply and demand matching, design and construction optimization, employee health and safety, sustainability, and advanced building management systems and IoT.

As a leader in GREF Tech, you will help shape how Amazon operates the world's largest corporate office infrastructure. Our team is part of FinAuto and functions as GREF's dedicated tech team. We are effectively a startup created to solve GREF's existing and future technology needs, with the opportunity to invent, build, and operate from (approximately) the ground up.

Key job responsibilities
1. Strategy & Roadmap: Drive GREF Tech's technical strategy and roadmap development.

2. Partnerships & Alignment: Partner with business stakeholders, technology leadership, and product/program management teams to understand business needs, invent solutions, define requirements, and ensure OP1/OP2 alignment across all systems.

3. Architecture & Technical Expertise: Architect large-scale distributed systems supporting global real estate operations at Amazon scale, leveraging strong technical expertise with AWS primitives and distributed systems.

4. Delivery & Execution: Deliver results by leading cross-functional development teams from design to rollout.

5. Engineering Culture & Operations: Foster a culture of engineering excellence and innovation; own your operations through metrics and mechanisms to drive continuous improvement across your teams.

6. Influence & Leadership: Influence technical direction across partner teams and organizations.

7. Mentorship & Development: Mentor TPMs and engineers, participate in Principal TPM promotion assessments, contribute to talent development, and educate the community on best practices through internal conferences and knowledge sharing.

8. Communication & Trust: Excel in communication and cross-functional collaboration; earn trust through regular communication with senior management on status, risks, and change control.

9. Metrics & Data-Driven Decisions: Own all metrics around initiative goals you define; make data-driven decisions.

10. Resourcefulness: Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
