About the team
About Digital Sovereignty at AWS?
AWS has prioritized sovereignty since our beginning as the only major cloud provider allowing customers to control the location and movement of their data. Digital sovereignty means different things across countries and regions—there is no single definition. Through conversations with customers, analysts, and regulators, we have identified key themes: data residency and security, operator access restriction, resiliency and survivability, and independence and transparency.
The AWS European Sovereign Cloud represents our commitment to meeting the evolving sovereignty requirements of EU customers. Learn more:https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/in-the-works-aws-european-sovereign-cloud/
