As a Senior Account Manager at Amazon Web Services you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of an commercial enterprise businesses. Your responsibilities will include focusing on driving cloud and AI adoption in named accounts, revenue growth, and expansion across your assigned accounts.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success/delivering results, ability to engage CxO’s with confidence, and able to orchestrate cross-functional teams (internally and externally) with good communication skills. Must possess the ability to explain cloud computing and data/AI solutions at Level 100 (minimum).

Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in assigned customer accounts.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and goals.
- Develop and execute against business plans.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and offerings
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts including making them references for AWS
- Consistently maintain a robust opportunity pipeline and drive large deals
- Work with AWS ecosystem of partners to drive growth across customers
- Collaborate with extended and functional teams to meet customer needs and address any escalations.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience formulating and executing strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS or equivalent technologies
- Experience in generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle
- Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent
- 10+ years of direct sales or business development in software and/or cloud services markets selling to C-level executives experience
- Track record of consistently exceeding key performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with multiple business units and technology teams
- A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service would be preferred but not mandatory
- A degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing or related field
