As a Senior Software Development Engineer, it's up to you to contribute to defining, designing and refining the tech that keeps us one step ahead of listeners, while leveraging cutting edge technologies. ABOUT THE TEAM
Joining our team provides the unique challenge and opportunity to deliver software that benefits many customers around the world. Marketing Technology (MarTech) team's mission is to develop systems and tools that enable marketers to provide customers multi-touch, personalized and timely messages that enhance the experience of using our services. Customer journey automation and real-time targeting are examples of systems that the team works on. These systems are built using cutting edge technologies and products from AWS (including the AWS GenAI stack with services like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q), building the new generation of agentic driven UI/UX that will increase market efficiency and productivity.

A day in the life

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience using AWS in production environments
- Business fluency in written and verbal English
- 3+ years experience of software development and deployment of distributed multi-tier applications

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations
- Experience delivering customer-driven software products at a high scale in a fast paced, technology first, rapid-growth company
- Full stack proficiency (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, node.js, React)
- Experience with working in an agile environment that quickly adapts to change, and evolve product feed by shareholders and user feedback
- Experience promoting high-quality standards through: documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration and deployment
- Desirable experience working with AWS stack and tooling, with lambdas, API gateway, Bedrock, and CDK pipelines
- AI/ML knowledge with Model Context Protocol development or similar AI integration protocols, including an understanding of LLMs, agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience working with design systems like Cloudscape or equivalent
- Experience working on product team, that partners with product manager and UX/UI designer, to work together refining stories, reviewing product outcomes, all the way from planning, developing and execution
