Join eero's cloud-focused backend team to rapidly iterate customer-facing features and build scalable cloud services for managing and troubleshooting home WiFi networks. You will develop cloud backend services and extensible APIs for partner and external clients, participate in design reviews, and create automation to reduce manual work. The role includes participating in on-call rotations to ensure cloud services are reliable and scalable, with collaboration across product, design, mobile, web, and QA teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Quickly iterate on customer-facing features with product, design, mobile, web, and device, and qa engineers.
- Develop cloud backend services to support user and node clients
- Write extensible APIs for partner teams and external clients to consume
- Lead and participate in design reviews for large-scale software architecture
- Create tools and automation to eliminate manual work
- Participate in an on-call rotation and work to ensure that cloud services are operationally sound
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
