Join Amazon's Alexa Endpoint Experiences team as a Software Development Engineer. You will own end-to-end delivery of new services and features powered by Alexa LLM, pushing multimodal rendering across Alexa devices. You will design external facing APIs to enable communication between developer and device interfaces and collaborate in an Agile environment to prototype and evaluate approaches. You will mentor team members and help establish architectural principles while delivering high-quality software on aggressive schedules.

We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented full stack developer to innovate in building innovative products. You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of cutting edge products used every day, by people you know.

You will own the end-to-end delivery of new services and features powered by Alexa LLM. Push the technical envelope on multimodal rendering powered by LLM across all Alexa devices. Join a team that is still early in its product lifecycle and with numerous growth opportunities ahead.



Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, low latent, high availability, and maintainable multimodal services that enrich customer experiences on screen-based Alexa devices.
- Independently design external facing APIs to facilitate communication between different developer and device interfaces.
- Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.


A day in the life
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.

Establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
