Amazon FinTech is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer (L5) to design and build software with wide impact across the Finance Technology organization. On Day 1 in the FinTech Tax org, you’ll join a fast-moving team building a global suite of tax solutions and tax automation products. The role offers a mix of greenfield and brownfield work, exposure to Generative AI/LLMs and Foundation Models, and opportunities to work with AWS technologies and global teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of software development experience and a track record in design/architecture, with strong interest in Finance and Accounting.

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
