Join Amazon B2B Payments and Lending (ABPL) as a Software Development Engineer building large-scale, multi-tiered applications for Amazon Business customers. You’ll work as a full-stack engineer across Front-end/UI/UX and Back-end REST APIs, leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code. You will estimate effort, plan implementations, and roll out solutions across systems and operations as part of a fast-growing team dedicated to modernizing payments and lending experiences. Basic qualifications include several years of non-internship software development and design/architecture experience.

Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer:
- You will be responsible for design, development, testing, deploying, delivering and support the large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools that serve Amazon Business Customers.
- You will work as full-stack engineers building end to end experiences on Front-end, UI, UX frameworks / Back-end, REST APIs, leveraging a wide array of AWS services including EC2, S3, API Gateway, Workflow service, Step Function, DynamoDB, Lambda and infra-as-code.
- You will be responsible for estimating efforts, plan implementation, roll out across systems and operations.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
