The Software Development Engineer will design, develop, and maintain business-critical order processing, checkout, and payment workflows for Amazon Appstore Commerce. The team implements checkout flows with industry-leading conversion rates and minimal latencies, with diverse payment options for the global customer base. They integrate with Amazon payment systems, develop robust APIs and services for payment processing, and optimize transaction success rates.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 2+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
