A day in the life
You spend most of your time building software - including decomposing product requirements, writing technical design documents, building and testing new features, fixing issues, and improving system performance. Code reviews are part of your regular routine. You regularly use AI tooling as part of your day to day development tasks.

You might research new frameworks or tools, write technical documentation for complex features, or collaborate closely with teammates on challenging problems. Some days are deep focus on feature development, others involve mentoring or investigating production issues. The work varies but always centers on making Zappos better for our customers.

About the team
You'll join a tight-knit team of developers who take ownership of the entire customer experience on Zappos. Everyone here is passionate about creating seamless shopping experiences that make customers genuinely happy - whether that's perfecting the search flow, streamlining checkout, or building features that surprise and delight.

We work closely together, sharing knowledge across platforms and collaborating daily with product managers and engineers. The team values transparency, continuous learning, and taking initiative. You'll have the freedom to propose solutions, and experiment with new approaches to
improve the Zappos customer experience.
