Key job responsibilities
Prime Video is currently seeking a Sr Live Solution Architect to work with video content providers, video streaming technology partners and broadcast networks for integration of live sports, Music, news and live television channels onto Prime Video. This role will focus on developing strong technical partnership with live broadcasters, cable networks, live media solution providers, AWS and Prime Video engineering teams. The Sr Live Solution Architect will design and improve the specifications and workflows for acquisition and ingestion of live video content while driving large scale innovation in the live video space at Prime Video. This role also represents Prime Video to the wider digital video industry, contributing to working groups and helping to define future live broadcast standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will have in-depth knowledge of live video broadcast and related industry standards, and have a proven track record of working on scalable solutions for the ingestion and processing for live video.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies including Live video ingestion and/or distribution

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience working at a TV Network, broadcaster, or an online streaming platform, specializing in digital video delivery or streaming media technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
