Lead accelerator server and rack system development, solving complex architectural problems across hardware, software, networking, and cloud services. Build automation to manage large-scale infrastructure and drive reliability and operational excellence, including diagnostic tools and monitoring for production systems. Decompose large-scale system challenges into actionable tasks, leading cross-functional delivery and hands-on execution to deliver scalable, testable, and robust solutions. Proactively identify deficiencies before customer impact and guide the team in improving quality while reducing execution time.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead technical solutions for complex accelerator server and rack system architectural challenges
- Own end-to-end system reliability, proactively identifying and resolving deficiencies before customer impact
- Write code and implement solutions to address system-level issues at large scale
- Decompose complex server system problems (testability, reliability, diagnostics) into deliverable tasks and features
- Lead cross-functional delivery of system improvements through direct execution and team coordination
- Apply expertise across hardware, software, system design, x86 architecture, processes, and operations
- Drive system scalability and performance optimization for accelerator workloads
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure robust system integration
- Develop and implement diagnostic tools and monitoring solutions for production systems
- Debug complex system failures in time sensitive settings

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- 4+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience
- Experience leading and influencing your team or organization, or experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead
- Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, storage, network, security, database administration and cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of programming or other scripting languages and coding skills (C/C++/C#, Node.JS, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby)
- 5+ years of system development experience with server hardware and software integration
- Deep understanding of x86 architecture, server hardware, and system-level debugging
- Experience with accelerator technologies (GPUs, AI/ML hardware) and/or storage systems and/or high-performance computing systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of development/programming/scripting language (Python/Java/Bash/Perl) experience- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
