Role focuses on defining and executing GTM strategy for AI/GenAI within AWS, acting as a deep technologist for complex customer challenges. Representing the voice of the customer, you will influence product roadmaps and provide advanced technical guidance to domain-aligned GTM teams. You will be a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums and public speaking, and create enablement materials for field teams. You will partner with Business Development to define technical components of GTM concepts and support a global internal community of subject matter experts.

AWS Specialist Solutions Architects(SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based systems using AWS Agentic AI services such as Amazon Quick. • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 7+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
- 2+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience
- Hands-on experience in building Intelligent virtual Assitance

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- 8+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience
- Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
- Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
- Experience working in a cloud based development and production environment such as AWS

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
