We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive remediation of issues identified in our audit program for AWS data centers in the Americas. You will lead cross-functional regional teams to mitigate and remediate risks in both Amazon-owned and colocation data centers, applying deep data center infrastructure and program management expertise. The role requires analyzing complex data from multiple sources, communicating progress to senior leadership, and delivering results within tight timelines. Strong collaboration, stakeholder influence, and leadership are essential to deliver safe, reliable infrastructure at scale.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. As AWS expands its Global Data Center footprint our infrastructure standards continue to rise. We seek a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive remediation of issues found during our audit program. You'll work with multifunctional regional teams in the Americas, driving the teams to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks from both Amazon owned Data Centers and Colocation Data Center providers. The role requires expertise in Data Center Infrastructure and operations, Program Management and analyzing complex data from multiple sources to form and present coherent strategies for our Global portfolio. You'll need excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience reporting out progress at an SVP level. Tolerance of ambiguity is a must as is the ability to deliver results under tight timelines.
An ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in program management in the context of managing complex, cross functional programs. An Engineering or other relevant Bachelors degree is required along with strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to influence multiple stakeholders and technical subject matter experts. A talent for successfully delivering programs while effectively managing large capital budgets is essential.
You will work comfortably with stakeholders from multiple teams, align priorities and ensure all stakeholders work towards and deliver key milestones necessary for delivering data center infrastructure remediation for our customers at the right time and cost. Technical competency, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role. You will clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in enginnering or equivalent, or 4+ years of data center engineering or operations experience- Data Center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management background. · Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects. Experience of data center design, construction and fit out projects a plus. · Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies. · Experience of delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa · Familiarity with the AWS product suite

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
