Are you a highly motivated software engineer with an interest in flow automation and/or DevOps? Arm is looking for a Graduate Software and Automation / DevOps Engineer to join our CPU development team in Sophia Antipolis, France. You will develop and maintain the automation and continuous integration framework for the CPU performance infrastructure (CI/CD and tools), continuously improve automation flows, and provide technical support to the engineering team. This role offers exposure to various CPU development activities and opportunities to grow within a leading technology company.

Job Overview:

Are you a highly motivated software engineer with a keen interest in flow automation and/or DevOps? We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer to join our CPU development team.

Based in Sophia Antipolis, our design center is located in one of the most beautiful parts of France, at the heart of Europe’s largest and most dynamic technology park. Surrounded by mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, this exceptional design center has delivered leading products from Arm’s Cortex (TM) processor family.

Working alongside our software and micro-architect specialists, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience and expertise towards various CPU development activities.

What could you be doing as a Graduate Software and Automation / DevOps Engineer?

  • Develop and maintain the automation and continuous integration framework for our CPU performance infrastructure (including CI/CD and all associated tools)
  • Continuously improve our automation flows (user interface, resource optimizations, data visualization)
  • Offer technical support and advice to the engineering team

We are looking for individuals who:

Hold (or are on track to hold) a University or Engineering School degree by the programme start date. This can be a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience. And who also have:

  • Experience of the Linux environment
  • Working knowledge of source control system (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, C)
  • Good English and interpersonal skills

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

  • Experience of DevOps, automation or delivery support for large projects
  • Basic knowledge of Computer Architecture
