We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Asset Servicing Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications by utilizing industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance user experience and system performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure high quality and performant code through comprehensive testing and debugging processes.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of BNY's technology solutions.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies to advance BNY's engineering capabilities.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Typically 9-12 years of experience.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, demonstrating expertise in full-stack development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Knowledge of cloud storage solutions (S3 / Azure Blob Storage / Google Cloud Storage).
- Hands-on experience with code release management, including GitHub-based version control, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and practical experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases in fullstack development projects.
- Experience of working in POD structures within an agile paradigm. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in deploying, managing, and monitoring applications in cloud environments.
