Lead the design and delivery of cloud-based infrastructure and solutions for defense programs, translating customer IT needs into sustainable cloud architectures and roadmaps. You will guide cloud migrations, integration of advanced technologies, and modernization of legacy systems, while mentoring the next generation of developers. This role requires 5+ years in cloud architecture, 2+ years leading cloud teams, AWS and Azure experience, Terraform, and the ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT within 30 days. DoD Secret clearance is required.

Job Description

As a cloud solution architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by defining, crafting, and executing sustainable cloud architectures. Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way a fifth-generation fighter aircraft uses technology including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have:
5+ years of experience developing and deploying modern cloud-based architecture
2+ years of experience leading cloud infrastructure or cloud teams
Experience implementing cloud-native solutions to accelerate application development
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
Experience with Agile methods and practices
Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) and DoD Cloud SRG requirements, including for classified or SAP environments, and DoD Risk Management Framework
Experience with Linux or Windows Server
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification or AWS Certified Developer Associate Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
