Job Description
The Opportunity:
Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to develop more capabilities. Whether you come from a background in network engineering, systems administration, or software development, if you have a passion for making systems better, we need you!
As a site reliability engineer on our team, you’ll help our Platform Engineering team develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to gain skills in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD while growing your SRE experience. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
- Experience with Linux systems, containerization, and Kubernetes
- Experience with developer experience tools such as Backstage
- Experience with monitoring tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace, and logging systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and IaC tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Software Engineering field by May 2026

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
