Role Description
GCP Core Services:
- Compute Engine: Virtual Machines (VMs), instance groups, and autoscaling
- Kubernetes Engine: Container orchestration, deployment, and scaling
- Cloud Storage: Object storage, data archiving, and data transfer
- Cloud SQL: Managed relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Cloud Spanner: Globally distributed, scalable database
Automation & Orchestration:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager
- Scripting: Python, Bash, Shell scripting
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build
Monitoring & Logging:
- Cloud Monitoring: Metrics, alerts, dashboards
- Cloud Logging: Log management, analysis, and alerting
- Stackdriver Debugger: Debugging and profiling applications
Security:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Roles, permissions, and security policies
- Virtual Private Cloud (VPC): Networking, subnetting, firewalls
- Data Encryption: Encryption at rest and in transit
