Join Capgemini as a Senior Active Directory Engineer responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing the Active Directory environment across multiple sites. You will oversee the operational integrity of domain controllers, and administer ADFS and Azure AD Connect to support SSO and identity synchronization. You will monitor performance, implement security policies, perform routine AD maintenance and disaster recovery, and mentor junior engineers in AD best practices. This role requires a shifting schedule with hybrid work in Pasay City.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of operational experience in Active Directory and Windows Server administration, including direct management of domain controllers.
  • At least 5 years of operational experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Azure AD Connect (AADC), including user and group management, conditional access policies, and multifactor authentication.
  • Demonstrated ability in AD troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational optimization.
  • Experience with of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing, as these are fundamental to the operation of AD DS
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting to automate routine AD tasks.
  • Familiarity with IT security principles, especially as they pertain to AD environments.
  • Must be amenable to work on a shifting schedule and a hybrid work arrangement in Pasay City.

Job Description

The Senior Active Directory Engineer will take on the critical role of managing, securing, and optimizing our Active Directory environment. This includes direct responsibility for the operational integrity and performance of our domain controllers, ADFS, and AADC.

The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining the security and efficiency of our identity and access management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory domain controllers across multiple sites and domains to ensure high availability and performance including managing users, groups and GPO’s.
  • Administer Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Azure AD Connect (AADC) to support single sign-on (SSO) and seamless identity synchronization.
  • Monitor AD services to identify and resolve performance issues and ensure system security and compliance with IT policies.
  • Execute routine AD maintenance tasks, including backing up and restoring AD DS and disaster recovery operations.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to fortify AD against vulnerabilities and implement security policies.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of AD, ADFS, and AADC issues, providing tier-3 support as needed.
  • Optimize AD infrastructure through effective configuration and policy management.
  • Document operational procedures, configurations, and system changes.
  • Guide and support junior team members in AD management practices.
