YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering is searching for a Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) to strengthen our teams in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will be an asset to the Computing and Virtualization area, integrating into teams on projects involving the architecture, implementation, and migration of solutions:

• Containers and Kubernetes architecture and design
• Devops based working mindset (Git based workflows, configuration as data/ IaC, CI/CD pipelines)
• Terraform and Ansible working proficiency
• Bash/Python scripting experience
• TCP/IP networking proficiency
• Operating systems (RHEL based, Ubuntu, Windows Server) system administration
• Capacity to specify and deliver production ready Architecture/Designs

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum experience of 5 years
• Knowledge of Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS)
• Knowledge with Flux/ArgoCD
• Observability stack experience (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana, Open Telemetry)
• Knowledge with CNI, CSI, Service Meshes Kubernetes
• Knowledge Software Defined Storage (Ceph, Portworx, Longhorn, etc.)
• Ability to deliver OpenShift projects with a focus on architecture and design.
• Knowledge in Hardware and systems essential (Servers, Switching, Storage)
• Terraform and Ansible working proficiency
• Focused, collaborative person and continuous learner
• Good level of English.
