• Consulting other teams with demand for test automation;
• Introducing test automation and expanding existing test coverage for our customers;
• Developing new tests and tools for our backend APIs and services;
• Advising which test automation tools are fitting best in the context of the clusters;
• Performing training / introduction for the customers using Selenium or Cypress Framework or Gauge/Cucumber;
• Consulting teams with respect to Test Automation Frameworks using Octane / GIT / CI Tool / TA tool;
• Collaborating with engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process;
• Being responsible for the further development of our test automation pipeline.

• Previous experience with Test Frameworks / Test Automation;
• Extensive knowledge of automation testing technologies (Selenium, Cypress, Gauge, Cucumber);
• Experience using practices such as CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), TDD and BDD;
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud topics (OpenShift, Docker) and system architecture landscapes;
• Experience in Java development, SQL, GIT, REST API;
• Fluency in English;
• University degree in IT or relevant.

The CI/CD CHAMP cluster is responsible for the development and provision of services in the area of Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Integration. We provide automated deployment environments, customized delivery pipelines, test automation tools and expertise, as well as onboarding services. Our customers and partners are other software development teams within Commerzbank.
