Position Overview

Job Title- DevOps Engineer, Associate

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

• We are looking for a candidate that adopts a continuous learning and improvement mentality with deep understanding of the public cloud.
• Knowledge and experience in enterprise production workloads related to one of the major cloud providers.
• In depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with one of the common tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, Github and GitHub runners is a must.
• Languages: Terraform, Helm, Shell (Python and/or .net core/Java is a valuable plus)
• Kubernetes (any flavor) knowledge is required. Ideally the candidate has deep experience with Kubernetes and Istio or other container management tools (e.g. Consul and Nomad) in a production environment.
• We expect the candidate to work closely with the product owners, architects, the scrum master, the project managers as well as the development team. Strong communication is required in a cross functional, multi-language and multi-culture team environment spread across several locations.

Your key responsibilities

• Managing and supporting GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain and update CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring system Health and respond to issues/incidents.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and independent manner

Your skills and experience

Essential skills

• Deep understanding of the cloud
• Excellent knowledge and expertise in enterprise production workloads related to one of the major cloud providers.
• Experience with task automations
• In depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with one of the common tools like Jenkins, Teamcity or Github.
• Languages: Terraform, Helm, Shell, etc (Python and/or .net core is a valuable plus).
• Kubernetes (any flavor) knowledge is required. Ideally the candidate has deep experience with Kubernetes and Istio or other container management tools (e.g. Consul and Nomad) in a production environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud/network issues.
