Your key responsibilities
- Ownership of SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA) and SWIFTNet Link (SNL) platforms, ensuring maximum availability, performance, and security.
- System Integration: Design, implement, and manage integrations between the SWIFT platform and other internal processing systems, middleware, and applications.
- Oversee all aspects of the platform lifecycle, including capacity planning, version upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Lead incident and problem management efforts, providing deep technical analysis to rapidly resolve complex issues across the application, database, and operating system layers.
- Represent Deutsche Bank in German and European technical forums and SWIFT advisory groups, contributing to industry standards and bringing back key insights to inform our strategy.
- Work closely with operations, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure cohesive and secure end-to-end solutions.
Your skills and experiences
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux/UNIX including system administration, performance tuning, and shell scripting.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle databases, including administration, SQL, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in a high-availability, 24/7 production environment where stability is paramount.
- Experience with high-load systems and performance testing and tuning.
- Knowledge of messaging middleware IBM MQ and Kafka.
- Solid understanding of networks, firewalls and network protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS).
- Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
- Understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and cryptographic principles.
- Experience working within containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience administering and supporting the SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SAA and SWIFTNet Link (SNL) platforms in a large-scale financial institution would be an asset.
