Role Description

You’ll be a seasoned software engineer with 5+ years of experience, joining a team of enthusiastic individuals striving to innovate, design, and build solutions that meet comprehensive requirements. You’ll be familiar with SDLC and Agile practices, able to translate requirements into technical solutions while communicating effectively both within and outside your team. You’ll have familiarity with development skills, be familiar with IDEs and development toolsets.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and other automation tools.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release processes.
  • Implement security best practices in CI/CD and cloud environments.
  • Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and standards.

Your skills and experience

Must Have

  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security practices.
  • Version control using Git.

Desirable

  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Exposure to cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with Python or Go for automation scripting.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certifications like GCP Engineer or Terraform Associate.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or relevant technology & science
  • Technology certifications from any industry leading cloud providers
