As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/x), you’ll join the Single Sign On (SSO) Services Engineering team to deliver automation solutions for cloud deployments. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing within a complex project environment, collaborating with business departments and engineers, analysts, and project managers from partnering teams. Your role involves working with the Business Functional Analyst, SSO Solution Architects, and Engineering team to ensure robust testing is executed. You will be involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping and planning through detailed analysis and collaboration with the IT team to ensure extensive testing across all environments. Key responsibilities include testing SSO functions using automated and manual approaches, investing in automated testing coverage and non-prod environment configuration management, providing feedback to improve operational efficiency, documenting testing strategy and approach, leading the testing team, requirements analysis, test case design, planning and executing test activities, collaborating openly with business and technology stakeholders, and developing in-house testing automation tools and frameworks.
Your skills and experience should include quality assurance expertise, test analysis skills, ability to design test cases using various techniques, hands-on experience in automated testing, experience testing complex systems, strong technical background with SQL and Unix commands, experience with Google Cloud architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You should have experience working on large-scale, complex deliverables across multiple functions and stakeholders, excellent communication skills with attention to detail, a proactive and delivery-oriented mindset, and experience with complex infrastructure, enterprise software platforms, SDLC development practices, Terraform, and GitHub. Knowledge of Oracle and Java is preferable but not mandatory.
