  • This role will be a member of the engineering team at DWS. This role will be is part of our front office team which works directly with the business and supports the Passive Investments Portfolio business.
  • We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong DevOps skills with a focus on automation, monitoring, and incident response to support both development and production environments.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security using industry-standard tools.
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution for production issues (L2/L3 support).
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and support application releases.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Maintain and optimize containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Document operational processes, runbooks, and incident reports.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Openshift).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
