Role Description

  • The Solution Architect will be part of I&A Secrets Manager team. This role is responsible for design and implementation of enterprise grade secrets management framework and secure cloud architecture. The role is responsible for establishing security, governance and lifecycle practices for managing secrets across hybrid cloud environments, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • This position requires good understanding in cloud native security controls and enterprise tooling ensuring scalable, compliant and resilient solution design.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design secure and scalable architecture for multi-region and high-availability cloud environment.
  • Define best practices for secret storage, rotation, lifecycle management and governance.
  • Prepare detailed solution design documents aligned with enterprise security and architecture standards.
  • Demonstrating strong understanding of Kubernetes security concept, RBAC, service accounts, workload identity and container security.
  • Ensure alignment with cloud security standards, compliance requirements and enterprise SDLC processes.
  • Collaborate with platform, security, network and application teams to prepare complained architecture
  • Document architectural decisions, operational models and governance frameworks

Your skills and experience

Essential

  • Proven 8+ years’ experience in cloud architecture and security.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud services.
  • Understanding of IAM, least privilege access model, Secrets Management.
  • Experience in integrating secrets with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes/GKE preferred)
  • Understanding of compliance and audit requirements.

Preferred Qualification

  • Degree in IT/information security or equivalent experience.
  • GCP Professional Architect or equivalent cloud certification

Desirable

  • Strong architectural thinking and risk assessment ability.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business & security requirements into scalable solutions.
