What you'll do Docusign is seeking a transformative, hands-on leader to redefine our DevSecOps landscape. As a Sr. Manager of DevSecOps, you will be the driving force behind modernizing our infrastructure, release philosophy, and CI/CD ecosystem. This is a high-visibility role for a thought leader who challenges the status quo and builds world-class engineering engines from the ground up. You will act as the vital bridge between development, security, and release management, ensuring our pipelines are both lightning-fast and inherently secure. This position is a people manager role reporting to the VP of Strategy, Release & Operations. Responsibility Architect the Future: Move the organization beyond basic automation into the realm of self-healing infrastructure, internal developer platforms (IDP), and advanced GitOps workflows Apply a data-driven approach to manage complex release cycles and infrastructure projects, ensuring precision in execution Act as a subject matter expert on industry trends (e.g., AI-driven operations, FinOps, OpenTelemetry) and advocate for their adoption across the engineering org Identify architectural bottlenecks and implement solutions proactively (You are expected to audit the current state and propose a 90-day transformation plan within your first month) Mentor the India-based team to shift from a "support" mindset to an "engineering-first" mindset, fostering high ownership and innovation Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. What you bring Basic 15+ years of experience leading large-scale migrations (e.g., Monolith to Microservices, on-prem to cloud, or manual release & deployment operations to continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD) focusing on progressive rollouts) Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams under an executive office while maintaining crystal-clear documentation and roadmaps The gravitas to present to executive leadership and persuade cross-functional teams to adopt new DevSecOps and Security standards Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation) with integrated security guardrails Deep experience managing cloud/hybrid environments, including identity, networking, and secure service configurations Hands-on experience with Secrets Management (Vault) and Observability (logging, monitoring, and incident response integration) Preferred Proven track record of migrating legacy pipelines to a modern DevSecOps model Strong experience with Salesforce architecture, including Scratch Orgs, sandbox strategies, and CI/CD-driven releases Deep expertise in GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions, architecting reusable workflows for enterprise-grade SaaS Hands-on experience with CodeQL, secret scanning, dependency reviews, and Docker/Kubernetes hardening Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
